The Environmental Partnership is an environmental consulting practice established early in 1998. The office is located in Shortmarket Street in central Cape Town.

The partnership is intent on promoting equitable access to environmental management expertise, to benefit the common good of society as a whole. The expert service we provide for our clients also contributes to the development of the profession. We see the fostering of an environmental ethic which is relevant to a developing country in the process of social transformation, as a legitimate underpinning of our business philosophy.

• Development of Environmental Management Systems (EMSs), for construction and operational phases in the project cycle, per the ISO series of quality-based environmental management standards.
• Audit, review and evaluation of environmental systems and procedures.
• Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA), at a wider planning and policy level than project-specific developments.
• Implementing public accountability (participation), to ensure transparency in environmental planning.
• Compliance with the Integrated Environmental Management (IEM) procedure, within which EIAs, EMPs and public accountability find their context.
