The Environmental Partnership is a well established, 100% black female owned environmental consultancy based in South Africa. The consultancy has been around for over 12 years, and in that time has shown that strong ethics, relevant knowledge, efficiency, accurate implementation of legislation and good communication are factors that contribute to the success of the company. Because of our strong work ethic, we have shown that we remain true to the environment by upholding a few crucial principles. We are able to ensure that development occurs in a manner that is environmentally sustainable and environmentally responsible. By being thorough, knowledgeable of the relevant legislation, and by not succumbing to subjective pressures, we aim to make our processes defendable.
This company has worked through the numerous environmental legislative changes over the years and as a result of the experience gained in applying the varying legislation on projects, we are able to provide sound advice to clients on development projects. We have acquired respect in the industry for undertaking projects of varying magnitude, varying complexity and varying in nature. Our intention is to always ensure that development is undertaken in an environmentally sustainable manner.
Projects of note worth mentioning include: the Environmental Impact Assessment for the new Cape Town Stadium (65 000 seater), the Cape Town International Convention Centre, the Cape Town Film Studios (previously called Dreamworld), Stonehurst Mountain Estate for Mvelapanda, and the Environmental Strategic Study for the Bus Rapid Transport System for the Klipfontein Corridor. More of our projects are listed below.
We have excellent skills with regard to public consultation, as all our projects require comprehensive public participation. We are sensitive to using a variety of appropriate public participation methods to suit the project and the communities involved.
